It gives me boundless ecstasyto know that Boys’ Anglo Bengali Inter College Sunderbagh, has launched its own official website…………ending its technological aloofness and apartheid from modern technology. The website will certainly mirror and preserve the academic, intellectual and cultural activities of the college enabling the staff, students and its alumni to have a glimpse of their school and alma-mater living in any part of the globe.

Friends, this ecstatic moment is not the culmination of the endeavor of a few but many. I recollect the days when the college had been left to lurch –debris , heap of garbage all around and its dilapidated building defined it badly, not only this the academic environment of the college had also gone vitiated to no limit and all activities could be seen except the academic . I had a Herculean task to bring it back to the path of academics but the proverb ‘where there is the will, there is the way’ became true in my regard and with the collective effortof staff, students and some erudite samaritans, the 120 year old decadent building of the college has now been given the look of a beautiful bride. In this mission we have organized two successive programmes at Ravindralaya in 2018 and 2019 for generating fund for the purpose of renovation of its crumpled structure followed by a grand successful inauguration ceremony of its gigantic and magnificent new gate installed recently by the money collected by shooting of films in college premises during the holidays by honourable U.P.cabinet minister Sri Brajesh Pathak in March this year.My association to the college though dates back to 1995 but after taking over as Manager in 2015, I have devoted myself fully for the upliftment of its building and amelioration of its academic environment. I would not hesitate to share with you that my devotion to the college may be attributed to my father late Sri H.C. Bhattacharya ji, who served as Principal of the college for two decades earning a lot of encomiums and this inspired me to fulfil his aspirations and dreams that he had seen for the college. I am also very grateful to all those whosoever have displayed their alacrity in my ‘yajna’ for the purgation and upliftment of the college as serving for education of the society is very pious feat.

Finally, the launch of the college website……… will indubitably be another impetus for us as it will help us a lot in scaling new heights in our journey to attain learning and enlightenment by scripting a new history of records.My best wishes for its grand success in future.
